FACEBOOK is a social network in the United States, according to metrics firm Hitwise, Experian. Mark Zuckerberg and company captured nearly 59 percent of all Web-based traffic to the leading social networks. Are you surprised? I know I am not.Hitwise recently launched a social networking site traffic report for September 2009, measuring a total of 155 online destinations. While Hitwise came to some surprising conclusions, such as Facebook foreground, the report also makes some interesting suggestions. By the numbers, sees Facebook as it really is the Google of social networks, but MySpace might have more activities, and Twitter is proving impossible to measure.

c; MySpace in second place with 30.26 percent; Tagged is a far third place with a pathetic 2.38 percent, and Twitter, and rounded with myYearbook under five years of 1.84 and 1.05 percent, respectively.
Among other data is generated from Hitwise, it is interesting to note that the U.S. users spend the most time on MySpace for a visit on average 25 minutes and 56 seconds. The remaining five finished in this order: Tagged (25:17), Facebook (23:00), myYearbook (18:07) and Twitter (15:52).
I Do not Know, It Is Up
Facebook is on its way to Google, at least with regard to the popularity of social networking. I think all of us for some time that Facebook at the head of the pack when it comes to social networks known, but Hitwise figures remind us how far Facebook ahead of the competition. People do not even know are talking about Facebook, when News Corp. bought in 2005, MySpace, however, how quickly times change themselves. Now, Facebook is not just look set to be a leader, but the dominant social network in the United States. In fact, this figure seems more and more like the list traffic for search engines.
